Paris is beautiful at any hour of any day of any season. Simple, right? But believe us when we say that there are peaks in the year when the city shines brighter than usual – the Paris Fashion Weeks. Warning: you may feel a little Cinderella-like when you cross a Natalia Vodianova running to Balmain’s show at the Opera Garnier or a Patrick Demarchelier shooting a campaign at the Jardin du Palais Royale. The good news is that in spite of what it may seem like, the fashion crowd is not only for the chosen ones.
If you want to be a spectator, go ahead and chose a front row seat at one of the terraces at rue Saint-Honoré to witness firsthand the live défilé of fashion stars that have descended upon the French capital. You can also be part of the action by attending the pre-show gathering (selected information can be found on the website of the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode, but also in the Instragram posts of celebs). We rubbed shoulders (or so we like to think) with the likes of Karlie Kloss, Miroslava Duma and Aimee Song prior to the Dior show, whose fashion history is celebrating its 70th year this season. And if you still think that you need to have expensive clothes to stand out, think again: our street style reportage from Alina Sepp (our new super cool contributing photographer) has some H&M gems.
Can you spot them?
